As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors, staff, and patients with professionalism. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare-related office, pharmacy support, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident records.
• Assist with access control, badge-related procedures, and protection of confidential business information in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
