Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Patrol Driving in Rancho Cordova, CA. The role involves unarmed patrols, customer service to clients and visitors, and protecting the facility perimeter with clear communication and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
