Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Mountain View, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff within a healthcare setting.

Position type is Part Time with a pay rate of $25.50 per hour. Shifts include DayTime Tue 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Competenze

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor credentials as required, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
