Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a site patrol in Tar Heel, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible scheduling with day shifts and a pay rate of $13.33 per hour. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing requirements depending on state law.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs, communicating information during shift handoffs.

What You’ll Do
