Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for part-time, unarmed patrol in San Carlos, CA. You will provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible security presence and reporting incidents in line with site procedures.

Responsibilities include regular patrols of transit facilities, monitoring access points, responding to incidents calmly, and completing incident reports and logs as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to designated representatives.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.
