Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by enforcing site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and directing authorized visitors/drivers.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports documenting activities and observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and/or drivers, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, policy violations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
