Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Independence, KY. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, professional presence at a logistics and distribution site.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening where required.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts or emergency services.
• Observe operations and help maintain orderly traffic flow around delivery vehicles; complete daily activity reports.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Observe shipping and receiving operations, help maintain orderly traffic flow around delivery vehicles, and complete required daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
