Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by observing vehicles, visitors, and personnel; manage sign-in, credentials, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations for site contacts and emergency services.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications per procedures.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing incoming and outgoing vehicles, visitors, and personnel; follow site procedures for visitor sign-in, credential checks, and delivery access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
