Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution location, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian activity, verifying authorization as directed, and documenting arrivals, departures, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs related to patrols, access activity, and observed conditions.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
