Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Goldsboro, NC. You will perform patrols, provide customer service to tenants and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required to operate patrol vehicles, with additional responsibilities including reporting daily activities and incidents. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with overnight shifts, requiring strong communication and professional conduct.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and assist with directing visitors, providing information, and reporting unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and daily shift reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
