Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a Part Time Unarmed Patrol position at a grocery location in Black Mountain, NC. You will patrol, assist customers and employees, and maintain a visible security presence while following site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a food and beverage location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report concerns, assist employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a grocery retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
