Allied Universal in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver to provide customer service, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible security presence at a retail mall location. The role supports incident response and access control while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork and integrity.

The position offers part-time hours with a consistent schedule and opportunities for additional shifts via the Claim a Shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, traffic flow, and documentation of daily activities.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards to appropriate personnel while helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, traffic flow, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
