As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen personnel, vehicles, materials, and/or deliveries as required, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, or policy concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
