Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in Bay Minette, AL. You will guard facilities, manage access, verify credentials, and provide excellent service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and regulations.

• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorizations per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and escalate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorizations in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
