Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Sanford, NC to monitor and protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial environments. You will provide courteous customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and use tablet tools to document observations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while supporting a professional, orderly workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
