Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed at a food and beverage site in Tar Heel, NC. You will perform routine patrols, maintain presence to deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Ideal candidates have CPR/First Aid certification and a guard card or license; must be 18+ for unarmed roles. Background checks and drug screening are required, with a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by procedures; report unusual conditions.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to supervision and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
