Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC to protect clients across multiple industries, including Food/Beverage. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance through our Claim a Shift platform while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will patrol assigned areas unarmed, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and report observations promptly using company systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control and badge handling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with X-ray screening. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. Pay Rate: $15.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
