Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Tar Heel, NC. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service to clients and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and integrity within a collaborative team and a caring culture. Training and development opportunities are available across shifts.

Formación

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, perimeter access points, and loading or shipping areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
