As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Maxton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged access controls, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
