Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a vigilant Security professional for a hotel environment in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on enforcing emergency procedures, controlling access, patrolling all hotel areas, and promptly reporting safety concerns to maintain a secure atmosphere for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has prior security experience, strong observation and communication abilities, excellent guest service, and solid report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• Excellent observation, communication, guest service and report writing skills.
• Valid Florida Driver License preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understands all Hotel Emergency Response Procedures and is able to respond appropriately to all situations.
• Monitors/controls access to all facility employee entrances, ensures that only authorized individuals enter
• Patrols front of house, back of house and exterior hotel areas, reporting any safety or security hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security Supervisor for direction and resolution
• Responds to all guest and employee incidents, gathers information, secures area if necessary to preserve evidence
• Other duties as assigned
