Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees through site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and authorized access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas in line with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as required by protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorized access, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, gates, and other restricted locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
