Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Imperial, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter unauthorized activity, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to grow, with training and safety programs provided. A valid driver’s license may be required for certain posts, and a background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter security-related incidents and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns using required reporting tools.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor access records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
