Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Clinton, NC. You will provide unarmed security, maintain a visible presence, assist employees and visitors, and follow site procedures to deter incidents.

Shifts are Tue/Thu/Fri 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; pay rate $13.84 per hour. You’ll use basic site tech to log activities, respond to alarms, and coordinate with site leadership while delivering courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer/ tablet proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in food/beverage production, warehouse, loading dock, parking and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions affecting operations to site leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe conditions that may affect operations or require attention, promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
