Job summary

Allied Universal in Clinton, NC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer Patrol to safeguard client sites in the food and beverage sector. The role involves patrolling facilities from midnight through early morning, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service to staff and visitors.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, document events, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures at a food/beverage production site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, shipping, entrances, parking and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain visitor, vehicle and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity and policy violations to site management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and facility alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving locations, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
