Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Clinton, NC. You will guard client sites, perform routine patrols, and deliver professional customer service.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Observe for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and/or policy concerns and communicate findings to appropriate site contacts.
