Job summary

Allied Universal in Clinton, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol). You will monitor and protect client sites in various settings, maintain a visible presence, and provide courteous customer service while following site policies.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing vehicle, delivery, and pedestrian activity around the facility and following established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
