Allied Universal in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will drive a patrol vehicle, maintain a visible presence, and provide courteous customer service while following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.

The role offers a part-time schedule with shift options and a pay rate of $20.53 per hour. A valid driver's license is required, along with minimum age and background checks.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.
