Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees and drivers by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and document relevant details, communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, yards, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorised activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and verify credentials, following visitor procedures.
• Support loss prevention and operations by observing shipping/receiving areas and reporting issues.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, helping to confirm proper credentials, follow visitor procedures, and report issues involving access control or restricted areas.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and following post orders related to shipping and receiving activity.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
