Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Front Desk Security Guard in Omaha, NE. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service while using computer tools.

The role is part-time with a day/evening schedule at a logistics & distribution site. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience, ability to use a computer or tablet, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage front-desk access activities, including greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, and security-related systems from a stationary front-desk post; report unusual activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor access, deliveries, and security-related incidents while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
