You will perform access control, verify IDs, monitor entry/exit, and respond to incidents with calm, professional problem-solving, while building a path toward full-time

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per procedures for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving communication.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, production facility perimeter, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Part Time Identity Verification in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures and security‑related policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as assigned, following established procedures for restricted areas and controlled access points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production facility perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
