Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Site Assessment Patrol in Nashville, TN to provide reliable, secure coverage at a designated site with the option to pick up extra shifts for higher earnings.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, maintaining a professional demeanor and following established procedures to ensure resident safety and site security.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of housing community buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and document observations in required activity and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with public agency personnel, residents, local law enforcement, and emergency responders when requested or required.

As a Security Officer Part Time Site Assessment Patrol in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:30 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
