Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Mangonia Park, FL. This role offers flexible, reliable hours at a healthcare site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to help you earn more while maintaining a part-time schedule.

Pay rate is $17.91 per hour. You will work a fixed anchor shift with potential to add shifts at other sites, providing patient and staff protection and handling security tasks per hospital

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate hospital personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity and assist with directions as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Service in Mangonia Park, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
