Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a part-time Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff while delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

As a PT Unarmed Patrol professional, you will monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and help deter security-related concerns. You can build a flexible schedule and join a team that values integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, managing access in restricted areas, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
