Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Hospital Access Patrol) in Cleveland, OH. You will serve in a hospital setting, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

As an unarmed Hospital Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare setting, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with site access requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
