Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, including verifying access authorization and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points and report unusual activity, prohibited items, access concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency personnel and site representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, waiting areas, and surrounding perimeter areas, with working conditions varying by location.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
