Job summary

Allied Universal in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver. You will protect clients across healthcare locations, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while providing courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff. A valid driver’s license is required for this role.

This daytime/evening schedule offers flexible hours with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. You’ll patrol, monitor access points, document observations, and coordinate with site

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
