Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for overnight hospital screening in Poway, CA. The role involves screening visitors, monitoring access points, and maintaining a welcoming, secure environment during night shifts.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Hospital Overnight Full Time Visitor Screeningin Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, communicating clearly with staff and guests, and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established access, visitor management, and health screening protocols.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff, providing directions and assistance while helping to maintain an orderly entry process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor assigned entry areas for security-related concerns and help to deter authorized access in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
