Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for a guest checkpoint at a financial institution in Charlotte, NC. You will provide a welcoming front-desk presence, manage access control, verify visitor IDs, and maintain accurate logs while delivering professional customer service.

You will work with flexible day schedules, focusing on safety, incident response, and clear communication with building staff and tenants.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or contractors at a front desk within a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and vendor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate professionally with building personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, and/or communication equipment, and promptly report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
