Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points; verify authorization and maintain access records.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and security-related situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entrances, parking, and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized activity or property concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities professionally per Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verify authorization, issue visitor or contractor access instructions, and maintain required access-related records.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and/or property concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents and site management while documenting incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
