Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Guest Services in Lewisville, TX. You will welcome visitors, manage access, and provide professional customer service at a manufacturing and industrial location.

This role offers a part-time schedule with pay rate of $18.75 per hour and the opportunity to use our Claim a Shift platform to explore new roles while helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide professional customer service at the front desk.
• Manage front-desk access, verify credentials, and issue visitor passes.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms using established procedures.

Using computer or tablet systems as needed, you will help maintain a secure, organized environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor and manage front-desk access, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor security-related systems, communications, and entry activity from the front desk, and document observations, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of lobby activity, challenging unescorted visitors when appropriate, and communicating potential concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
