Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour. The position supports visitors, employees, drivers, and deliveries while maintaining security procedures at a logistics site. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue appropriate visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and departure records.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate emergency personnel and/or site representatives when needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Access in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
