Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer at a premier luxury retail location in McLean, VA. You will greet visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers flexible weekend-only scheduling; pay is $25.00 per hour. You'll monitor front desk activity, respond to incidents calmly, and uphold a welcoming environment as part of Allied Universal's culture of teamwork

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sat 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at a front desk within a luxury retail location while following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor front desk activity, communications, and access points; report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a welcoming retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
