Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Savannah, GA. You will provide front desk security, greet guests, verify access, and maintain logs and incident documentation for hotel and resort properties.

Requires at least 6 months of security-related experience; preferred CPR certification and badge access experience. Excellent customer service and the ability to handle incidents calmly are essential. This role offers part-time schedules and benefits as described.

Security Officer Part Time Front Desk

Location: Savannah, GA

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.44 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and available systems to help identify and report unusual activity, policy concerns, or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to hotel/resort management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
