Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Flex Patrol in Elkridge, MD. This flexible position provides reliable, scheduled shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.61/hour with DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. You will perform access control, patrols, incident response, and reporting, while complying with site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents using required reporting tools.

As a Security Officer Part Time Flex Patrolin Elkridge, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
