• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity as required.
• Respond to incidents calmly, document activities, and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while maintaining security awareness throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
