Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Driving) in Fernley, NV. You will patrol and monitor manufacturing facilities, control access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations may be required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Report maintenance, access-control, and other security-related issues observed during patrols and support compliance with facility rules.

Join Allied Universal as a driving Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist with access control and badge-related activities. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Report maintenance, access-control, and other security-related issues observed during patrols, and support compliance with facility rules and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
