Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Orovada, NV. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements may vary by state.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document entries and observations.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership regarding security concerns.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns and operational updates.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.i
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
