You’ll engage with personnel and visitors, verify credentials, and respond to alarms while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor site access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, solution-focused manner per escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate to leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily drive throughout the site to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
