Allied Universal in Titusville, FL is seeking a Part-Time Experienced Unarmed Security Officer to protect clients in aerospace/defense and other sectors. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and provide courteous service while upholding company standards.

This role offers flexible daytime schedules and the opportunity to claim additional shifts through the platform. You must meet the minimum requirements and maintain professional communication with site leadership and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
