Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Orlando, FL to monitor and protect a aerospace/defense location. You will provide customer service to personnel and visitors while enforcing site policies, controls, and safety procedures.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and offers opportunities to advance through training and the company’s Shift Claim platform. Flexible scheduling supports growth and reliability in security operations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and in line with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, operations, and perimeters.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and access reports and share with supervision.
